Iris Apfel. A legendary, ageless, young lady of 90+ years. A friend of hers asked me to do her portrait. Like many advanced style legends, her layered bracelets signature and large 'owl-like' eyeglasses were Musts. Her hand gestures reminded me of the painted portraits of the regal Spanish Infante, in which curious, child-like hands float above the often-feathered poof! of her body clad in massive colorful garments. Like a bird, feathers are often the plumage on top.
